Catherine DeLara was born in Honolulu, but grew up on the mainland. She is now back in Hawaii with her family after more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Mississippi in 2001 with a Bachelors in Accountancy, she worked in various capacities, which include working for a Fortune 500 company as a District Staff accountant, as well as working for a CPA firm that entailed doing bookkeeping for multiple clients.
